I recently had the great honor to meet Mr Hamad Jamal and his musicians Reginald Veal (Double Bass) Herlin Ryley (Drums) and Manolo Badrena (Percussions) . A great moment with these gentlemen after an amazing concert at Théatre de l’Odeon (Paris).

Guitar from Senegal
Voici un portrait du grand guitariste Français Hervé Samb qui est né au Sénégal . He just made his 2nd album as a leader “time to feel” which is a beauty. I was inspired by one of the tracks of the album called “Sama Yaye” (A tribute to his mother who passed away last year) pour réaliser cette peinture . Hommage à Jef Lee Johnson par Reggie Washington au Blue Note de New York
Je suis très fier d'avoir été invité par le bassiste Reggie Washington pour concevoir l'affiche publicitaire pour son hommage à l'incroyable guitariste Jef Lee Johnson, qui est décédé l'année dernière….The concert will take place October 26th 2013 au Blue Note de New York !
l'affiche a été réalisée sous photoshop à partir de la photographie de la toile originale Rainbow Shadow réalisée l'an dernier…

Exposition FERTE JAZZ ART
Voici quelques photos souvenirs de l'exposition à La Ferté-sous-Jouarre pendant le festival de jazz avec les concerts de Maceo Parker, Avishai Cohen and Richard Bona 🙂 The festival was an incredible event despite the horrible weather and I would like to thank the manager of the festival Laurent Bachelet and all the people who are involved in it : You all are great people with a true dedication to Art and Jazz music 🙂

EXPOSITION au FERTE JAZZ
J'aurai le plaisir d'exposer à la médiathèque Samuel Beckett de la Ferté-sous-Jouarre (France) from May 14th to May 25th , 2013. Cette exposition aura lieu en parallèle avec la deuxième édition du festival de Jazz de la ville. “Le Ferte Jazz” . The library is next to the main stage of the festival: Une bonne raison de venir remplir vos yeux de couleurs avant d'aller vous régaler les oreilles avec la musique de nombreux grands artistes invités cette année. I will be present during the day on May 18th and 19th to welcome you to the show 🙂

Here is a painting I made after a tribute concert to Jef Lee Johnson I attended late February 2013. This tribute to the great guitarist Jef Lee Johnson who passed away on January 28th 2013, was made by Reggie Washington (bass), Jean-Paul Bourely (guitar) and Pat Dorcean (Drums) all 3 great friends of Jef. This concert is to replay in full lenght here :
