I recently had the great honor to meet Mr Hamad Jamal and his musicians Reginald Veal (Double Bass) Herlin Ryley (Drums) and Manolo Badrena (Percussions) . A great moment with these gentlemen after an amazing concert at Théatre de l’Odeon (Paris).

I was inspired by one of the tracks of the album called “Sama Yaye” (A tribute to his mother who passed away last year) pour réaliser cette peinture . Je suis très fier d'avoir été invité par le bassiste Reggie Washington pour concevoir l'affiche publicitaire pour son hommage à l'incroyable guitariste Jef Lee Johnson, qui est décédé l'année dernière….The concert will take place October 26th 2013 au Blue Note de New York !

l'affiche a été réalisée sous photoshop à partir de la photographie de la toile originale Rainbow Shadow réalisée l'an dernier…

Voici quelques photos souvenirs de l'exposition à La Ferté-sous-Jouarre pendant le festival de jazz avec les concerts de Maceo Parker, Avishai Cohen and Richard Bona 🙂 The festival was an incredible event despite the horrible weather and I would like to thank the manager of the festival Laurent Bachelet and all the people who are involved in it : You all are great people with a true dedication to Art and Jazz music 🙂
