J'ai eu l'honneur de faire dédicacer par lartiste lui même la toile qui lui est consacrée après son dernier concert à Paris au Bataclan. Il y a fait un concert extraordinaire! !!! The souvenir picture 🙂
Tribute to Francis Dreyfus
Here’s my latest artwork. A tribute painting to Mr Francis Dreyfus who passed away in 2010.He was a great jazz music producer who created the Dreyfus Jazz label in 90’s and promoted many great jazz musicians. He’s missed a lot and I wanted to pay a tribute to his love of Jazz music and his work throughout all this years….(Click on the picture to enlarge it)

Je suis fier de vous annoncer , l'exposition de 40 toiles en Mars 2012 pendant l'animation “Mars En Jazz” à Maisons Alfort, my town. Cette exposition aura lieu du 6 Mars au 31 Mars 2012 à la Médiathèque André Malraux, 4 rue Albert Camus 94700 Maisons-Alfort, N° de téléphone :01.43.76.30.77
Mes peintures seront exposées avec quelques photos de mon ami le photographe et comédien français, Jean-Claude Bourbault et avec quelques affiches de collection sur la bande dessinée et la musique apportées par Jean Claude Slagmulder
Il y aura de nombreuses activités d'autres autour du Jazz durant Mars à la Médiathèque comme des concerts, des conférences et il y aura un spectacle de Terez Montcalm avec son groupe le 17 Mars au “Théatre Debussy”

Voici ma dernière réalisation. A portrait of the jazz singer Terez Montalm. She has a special voice and great songs. She ‘s playing a beautiful Jazz Guitar especially designed for her by Courcelles guitars. She’ll have a show in my town, Maisons-Alfort, in March 2012 🙂

Cette exposition s'appelle “MARS EN JAZZ” et je voulais pour l'occasion réaliser une peinture homage à Miles Davis et aussi au grand artiste Mati Klarwein peintre de la pochette de l'album “Bitches Brew” enregistré par Miles en 1970.

That LP is known as the great entrance of Miles Davis in jazz fusion, qui utilise les instruments électriques dans la musique jazz. Un de mes disques favoris et une expérience unique à l'écoute. (Je n'ai écouté que ça pendant la création de cette toile)

Voici la toute dernière toile. A portrait of Mr Lee Ritenour, a great guitar player of funk, jazz, rock and brazilian music. That painting is a blink of an eye to a CD cover of his album “Earth Run” 25 years later 🙂
